'Grumpy comes as standard'

This sums me up. I always seem to find the bad side to everything. This is not a negative thing, it shows I am taking notice of what is going on around me.

 

I have just been through the greatest transition of my life.

I have successfully made the leap from working (Wanted) to retirement (Unwanted). I really do not care who you are, how hard you make yourself look to others, it is as bad a time as 'the passing of a loved one'

 

I have now re-invented myself - what an achievement !

 

Life before retiring

I had a good business life, it ranged from the RAF (Engineer) through a bit of this and a bit of that to a long career on the Railway.

I enjoyed every bit of it.

 

When I was in the Boy Scouts I was given some advice that has helped me ever since to achieve what I have. I was told to 'learn from every project and pass  on what I learned to the next.

I have and never will stop learning.

 

 

Old Codgers Company

This started life as a family joke. I was always being told I was 'a grumpy old b----r' and was challenged to tell the world what I was grumpy about. The present site is the result of that challenge.

It has never been updated because during my 're-invention' I started to develope some new business ventures. When these are complete they will take on the roll of the Old Codgers Company.

So Look Forward to the NEW Me.
